Who We Are
Bayberry is a private residential rehab clinic in the Warwickshire countryside, offering focused and genuinely personalised support for adults whose relationship with alcohol, substances, prescription drugs or behaviour has become harmful, or whose mental health has reached a point where professional residential care is needed.
We work with a small number of clients at any one time, a deliberate choice. It means that the people who come to Bayberry are not lost in a busy residential setting, that staff attention is undivided, and that treatment can be shaped around the individual rather than fitted around an institutional schedule. The environment reflects that same intention, discreet, comfortable and designed to feel like somewhere a person can genuinely settle rather than simply pass through.
Bayberry has been providing residential addiction and mental health treatment for over 14 years. We are part of the UKAT Group, one of the UK’s leading addiction and mental health treatment networks, which brings additional clinical governance, resources and the assurance of being treated within an organisation that has supported thousands of people across the country.
What We Treat
Bayberry supports adults experiencing a wide range of addiction and mental health conditions. These include alcohol and drug addiction, prescription drug dependency, behavioural addictions such as gambling and compulsive sexual behaviour, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, stress and burnout, mood disorders, and complex presentations where addiction and mental health difficulties exist alongside one another.
That last category is more common than many people realise. Addiction and mental health difficulties frequently develop together, each shaping and sustaining the other in ways that make both harder to address without professional support. Treating them simultaneously, within the same bespoke programme, consistently produces better outcomes than addressing either in isolation. It is the approach Bayberry is built around.
Detailed information about each condition and how we approach it is available within our Addiction Treatment and Mental Health Treatment sections.
Our Approach
Treatment at Bayberry begins with a thorough clinical and therapeutic assessment on admission. From there, a personalised plan is built around the individual, drawing on the most appropriate evidence-based approaches for their specific situation. Medical oversight is part of every admission, and plans evolve throughout the stay as the clinical picture develops and the person progresses through treatment.
Our approach addresses what is happening beneath the surface, not just the presenting behaviour. Addiction and mental health difficulties are treated as part of the same picture rather than as separate concerns, because for most people they are. Every therapist at Bayberry holds a minimum of Masters degree level qualifications, and their credentials are published transparently on our website.

Our Settings
Bayberry offers two distinct residential treatment experiences. The quality of clinical and therapeutic care is consistent across both. What differs is the environment, the level of privacy, the therapy format and the overall experience of being here.
For full details of both settings, including accommodation, therapy format, daily life and what each programme includes, visit the Our Clinics page.

There is no referral needed, no obligation and no pressure, just an honest conversation with people who understand what you are dealing with and how to help.
